Dengoso refuses to answer, reminding Bowman that even though she helped save him, he doesn't report to her. Bowman presses on, however, asking Dengoso to give her everything he knows about El Sueño and his location in Bolivia. Caveira rejects her request as her brother is Policia Federal and has no obligation to talk with her. Bowman interrupts, stating that she would like to have a word with Dengoso.
Angered, Caveira tells her not to force her to choose between her duty and her family. Caveira attempts to apologize for causing trouble but is told by Valkyrie that she "should've stayed home". Valkyrie then asks Bowman to keep the Operation quiet as she does not want word to spread that one of Rainbow's operative had gone rogue. While treating Dengoso's injuries, Twitch thanks Bowman for having Ghost Recon provide support. They then rendezvous at Karen Bowman's location. They then assisted Caveira in rescuing her brother who had been captured after his cover had been blown.
Ghost Recon and Rainbow eventually caught up with Caveira. Caveira left a trail of bodies throughout Bolivia as she merciliously interrogated and killed cartel members to learn of her brother's location. This action led Emmanuelle "Twitch" Pichon and Meghan "Valkyrie" Castellano to collaborate with Ghost Recon to conduct Operation: Archangel in order to recover Pereira. Worried, Pereira went AWOL to Bolivia in order to find her brother. In 2019, Caveira learned that her younger brother, João "Dengoso" Pereira, was sent undercover in the Santa Blanca Drug Cartel and subsequently disappeared.
